CME Group Responds to Moves for Financial Regulatory Reform

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today issued the following statement in response to the U.S. Treasury Department's "Blueprint for Financial Regulatory Reform" and its call for, as an intermediate but not short-term goal, a merger of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). 03.31.08
